Dato’ Angus, as the founder and managing partner has obtained his Law Degree from University of London LLB (Hons). In furtherance of his passion in law and international shipping field, he pursued further studies abroad by taking Postgraduate Master Degree in Maritime Law it University of Nottingham (UK), where he was awarded with the highest grade of “Distinction”.
As the Managing Partner, he heads the established practice that specialises in business and corporate transactions, intellectual property and dispute resolutions. He is active both in and out of Courts. Since being admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2007, he has been actively involved in a number of high profile cases involving various areas of law such as intellectual property litigation, corporate litigation, arbitration, banking litigation, land matters, tort law and defamation. His litigation experience includes taking conduct of full trials and hearings right up to the Federal Court level, the apex court of Malaysia.
Dato’ Angus is well known for being a tactful strategist, who is rich in both business and legal sense. He always can provide commercially sound and creative solutions to clients. He is an expert in advising clients in both money lending and anti-money laundering laws.
