Ms Karen Oh obtained her LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom and completed her Bar Vocational Course at Nottingham Law School. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008 and accredited as a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
She served her pupillage at Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co. and was called to the Malaysian Bar in October, 2009. During her pupillage, she had been assisting lawyers in corporate matters, i.e. due diligence, drafting opinion etc. and some preliminary litigation work.
Ms Karen Oh joined Messrs YM Chin & Partners in October, 2009 and was admitted as a partner at Messrs YM Chin & Partners with effect from January, 2013. She has been in practice principally in the field of conveyancing and banking law. She has a vast experience in handling subsale cases including drafting Sale and Purchase Agreement, vetting Agreement and loan documentation / loan drawdown procedure with various banks e.g. HSBC, CIMB, Hong Leong, Maybank, UOB, Citibank, OCBC, KAREN Alliance Bank, RHB, Government Loan etc.
