Wong Kum Heng (Francis Wong)

Mr. Francis Wong Kum Heng, graduated in 1990 from University of London with LL.B (Honours). He completed the Certificate in Legal Practice at University Malaya with Honours. Mr. Francis Wong was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court in Sabah and Sarawak on 3rd March 1993. He practiced as a legal assistant with Messrs Peter Lo & Co., from 1993 until December 2004 when he joined Messrs William Liaw, Chan & Co., as a partner. Mr. Francis Wong is experienced in both civil and criminal litigation and conveyancing, covering banking law, commercial law, admiralty law, corporate law, consumer law, industrial relation law, insolvency law, land law, contract law, construction law, torts, sexual harassment, occupational safety and health law and alternative dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration. He is a qualified and an accredited mediator (LEADR Aust) with the then Sabah Law Society. Mr. Wong has appeared at all levels of the courts and many of Mr. Wong’s cases are reported in the law journals. He joined Messrs Thean & Co., upon his return to Kuala Lumpur from Sabah in January 2020 and was admitted to the High Court of Malaya on 25.01.2021 after the Covid 19. In November, 2025 he joined Messrs Tiong, Woon & Khusyri (now Tiong & Woon).
